Addis Ababa, February 16, 2025 - For the sixteenth consecutive occasion, the 38th Assembly of the African Union, made up of the African Heads of State and Government, approved a resolution rejecting the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the government of the United States against Cuba, a cruel policy that has scourged the Cuban people for more than six decades.

Foreign Minister of Cuba Begins Official Visit to Asian Countries

Havana, February 12, 2025.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, begins an official visit to Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Laos, which will take place from February 12 to 21.

During his stay, the Cuban Foreign Minister will hold official conversations with senior officials from those countries, as part of the program of activities.

Cubans pay tribute to their National Hero Jose Marti

Havana, January 27, 2025.- Cuban students will reenact the traditional March of the Torches on Monday to pay tribute to National Hero Jose Marti on his 170th birthday, on January 28.

Members of the capital’s youth and student organizations will gather at the steps of the University of Havana to march to the Fragua Martiana (Museum of Marti’s Forge), where teenage Marti was imprisoned for his pro-independence ideas.
