The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Plurinational State of Bolivia announced the decision of the putschist Government to suspend diplomatic relations with the Republic of Cuba, claming that the Cuban Government has systematically affected bilateral relations and has been hostile towards the Bolivian authorities.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba strongly rejects the unfounded allegations of Bolivia’s de facto government.

Havana, january 23, 2020.- The President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, this Wednesday held a meeting with the diplomatic corps accredited in our country.

Also participating in the exchange were other principal government authorities and representatives of national institutions.

Cuba maintains diplomatic relations with 197 states and international entities, while 116 countries have embassies here, along with six representations of international organizations.(Cubaminrex-Granma)

HAVANA, Cuba.- The Cuban Chancellor, Bruno Rodriguez called this Wednesday to act against climate change, considered a threat to survival and whose effects are already irreversible.

The last decade is the hottest to date and 2019 is confirmed as the second warmest year since records, the Foreign Affairs Minister noted on Twitter.

The World Meteorological Organization warned that heat waves in recent years have been the deadliest, affected all continents, and set record national temperature records, joined by fires, tropical cyclones, floods and drought.

Such statements take place after a press conference held in Colombia by U.S. Secretary of State Michael Pompeo, in which he called for more action against Caracas.
