Cuban Ambassador exchanges with Cuban teachers working in Australian indigenous communities

Sydney, 1st May, 2023. The Cuban Ambassador to Australia met with part of the team of Cuban teachers who teach language classes in Aboriginal communities in Australia. 

During the meeting, the diplomat thanked the collaborators for the work they carry out with the Cuban method Yes, I can in the most disadvantaged communities. For their part, the Cuban teachers expressed their commitment to the task and shared their experiences in teaching the language in that country. 

Itinerant Consulate in Sydney

Sydney, 30 April, 2023. An itinerant consulate was held this Sunday at the headquarters of the Maritime Union of Australia. It was coordinated by the Head of the Consular Section of Cuba in Australia, Ms. Ivianes Gonzalez. 

The event also served to provide information to the Cuban community living in that Australian city, on the various consular procedures that can be carried out in the Cuban consulates, as well as an update on Cuban family law. 

The XIV International Meeting of Economists on Globalization and Development Problems will be held in Havana

The National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba (ANEC) and the Association of Economists of Latin America and the Caribbean (AEALC) consider that in order to understand the challenges faced by developing nations, it is essential to recover and update the analysis of the main transformations and trends in the global economy, and the ways in which international economic relations operate today.

Cuban Ambassador participates in virtual meeting with main representatives of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Australia

Canberra, 24 April, 2023. The main representatives of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Australia had a virtual meeting this Sunday with the Cuban Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia.

The meeting addressed issues such as the tightening of the U.S. economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba, as well as the inclusion of Cuba on the list of countries sponsoring terrorism.
