Canberra, May 25th - The Australia-Cuba Friendship Society (ACFS) launched a national campaign to raise funds with the aim of supporting Cuba in the fight against Covid-19, at a time when the United States government is intensifying its policy of sanctions and blockade towards the island.

Under the title “Cuban doctors are battling COVID-19 around the globe”, Australian journalist Jonathan Green had Professor John Kirk, from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada, as a special guest on his program.

Canberra, February 26, 2020 - The Cuban Embassy in Australia commemorated the 61st anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution at a reception held in the city of Canberra. Federal parliamentarians, representatives of the Foreign Ministry, members of the accredited diplomatic corps, businessmen, Cuban residents and a representation of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Association attended the event.
