Cuba and Nigeria continue to strengthen their bilateral relations.

Nigeria, October 8, 2021.- The counsellor of the Cuban embassy in Nigeria, Pavel Bauzá Fusté, received this morning at the headquarters of the Cuban diplomatic mission in Abuja, Nigeria, a group of state education authorities and students Kaduna, who will recently visit Cuba to begin his medical studies.

Demand Movement of Solidarity with Cuba in Nigeria to end the US Blockade.

Nigeria, October 7, 2021.- A broad representation of the Nigerian Movement of Solidarity with Cuba met at the headquarters of the Cuban diplomatic mission in Abuja, to participate virtually in the VII Conference of the African Movement of Solidarity with Cuba, sponsored by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP).

Minister of Science and Technology of Nigeria receives Ambassador of Cuba.

Nigeria, July 12, 2021.- The Nigerian Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Clara Pulido Escandell, at the headquarters of his Ministry.

At the meeting, held in a friendly atmosphere characterized by mutual interest in developing bilateral relations, Minister Onu and Ambassador Pulido noticed that common history and culture between both countries are in the base of a common interest to strengthen ties in the scientific and technological spheres.

Ambassador of Cuba visits TUC

Nigeria, July 9, 2021.- Comrade Quadri Olaleye, President of the Nigerian Trade Union Congress (TUC) receives at TUC headquarters comrade Clara Pulido Escandell, Ambassador of Cuba to Nigeria.

The meeting was an excellent opportunity to strengthen ties between the respective organized labour movements of Nigeria and Cuba.

Nigerian Foreign Minister receives the Cuban Ambassador.

Nigeria, July 14, 2021.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria, Geoffrey Onyeama, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Clara Pulido Escandell.

The meeting, held in the friendly atmosphere characteristic of relations between the two countries, was a propitious framework to discuss the state of bilateral ties and to thank Nigeria for the vote in favour of the United Nations Resolution condemning the unjust economic commercial and financial blockade that the Cuban people suffer from the United States Government.
