The Minister of Foreign Trade visits the United Arab Emirates

The Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz, culminated a fruitful visit to the United Arab Emirates, representing Cuba in the First UAE-Caribbean Cooperation Forum held between November 24 and 26, 2018 in Dubai.

During the international event, the Cuban Minister held a working meeting with the Minister of International Cooperation and positive exchanges with the Ministers of Culture and Economy, as well as Foreign Ministers and Heads of participating Cariban Delegations.

Cuba and the United Arab Emirates strengthen bilateral relations and promote regional collaboration within the framework of the First UAE-Caribbean Cooperation Forum

The Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz, held a working meeting with the Minister of State for International Cooperation, Ms. Reem Al Hashimy, in the framework of the celebration of the First United Arab Emirates Cooperation Forum and the Caribbean, which takes place from 24 to 26 November in Dubai.

Cuba present at the UAE-Caribbean Cooperation Forum

The Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz, presides over the Cuban delegation to the First Cooperation Forum of the United Arab Emirates and the Caribbean, whose previous Cultural Gala was held at the Etihad Museum in Dubai.

During the evening the Cuban minister held separate exchanges with the Minister of State for International Cooperation and the Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, who ratified the desire to deepen bilateral relations between Cuba and the United Arab Emirates in mutually beneficial projects.

New Casa del Habano inaugurated in Dubai

The Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz and the Executive Businessman Mohammed Mohebi inaugurated the new Casa del Habano in Dubai's City Walk.

Given the wide acceptance and growing demand of the famous Cuban cigars, this is the second Casa del Habano that opened in Dubai, which offered the 27 Cuban brands and the exclusive and limited production cigars.
