Minister of Transportation and Second Minister of Finance welcomes the Cuban Ambassador in Singapore.

Singapore, March 18th, 2024. The Minister of Transport and Second Minister of Finance, Mr. Chee Hong Tat, received today the new Ambassador of Cuba in Singapore, Lisbet Quesada Luna, in a courtesy visit.

Minister Chee warmly welcomed the Cuban diplomat and conveyed to her the willingness of the Ministry of Transportation to work to strengthen cooperation between both countries in the aforementioned sector.

Both parties discussed the collaboration at the multilateral level, as well as the willingness to consolidate and work for its diversification.

International Tourism Fair of Cuba, FITCuba 2024, from May 2 to 5, in the Jardines del Rey keys, in northern Cuba.

The XLII International Tourism Fair of Cuba FITCuba 2024 will take place in the Jardines del Rey keys, north of the central province of Ciego de Ávila, the second sun and beach destination on the Island and one of the most promising in the Caribbean.

The Fair will be dedicated to Latin America and the Caribbean. FITCuba is an exceptional opportunity to meet and do business with numerous Cuban and international tourism companies. Five thousand professionals from the travel sector, more than 570 businessmen and representatives of 51 airlines attended FITCuba 2023 in Havana.

Ambassador Lisbet Quesada visits Centre of Languages Studies of the National University of Singapore

Singapore, February 14, 2024. The Ambassador of Cuba in Singapore, Lisbet Quesada Luna, made a fruitful visit to the Centre for Language Studies of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of the National University of Singapore (NUS), where she was received by its General Director, Dr. Izumi Walker.

The topics exchanged will lay the foundations to continue strengthening cooperation in the study of the Spanish language, and open new spaces for exchange between our Universities.
