The Ambassador of Cuba in Belize met with the Leader of the United Democratic Party.

Belmopan, december 6, 2021.- The Ambassador of Cuba, Maria Caridad Balaguer Labrada, met with UDP Opposition Leader Hon. Patrick Faber, who was accompanied by John Saldivar, Interim UDP Caretaker in Belmopan. In the cordial meeting was reaffirmed the friendship between both countries and the United Democratic Party friendship with Cuba. (EmbaCuba Belice).

Belize Joins in the Commemoration of CARICOM – Cuba Day 

Belmopan. December 8, 2021. 2:20 p.m. 

Today, Belize joins in commemorating the forty-ninth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and Cuba, and the nineteenth anniversary of CARICOM-Cuba Day. This is a historic achievement celebrated by Belize, CARICOM, and Cuba.  

Tribute to Fidel in Belize.

Belize, November 28, 2021.- Organized by the Cuban Embassy in Belize and the Belize-Cuba Solidarity Group, a virtual solidarity meeting was held to honor Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz on the fifth anniversary of his physical disappearance.

The welcome remarks were given by Ambassador Said Guerra, who highlighted moments in the life of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution and then the song “Cabalgando con Fidel”, by Raúl Torres, was presented.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba supports Nicaragua's decision to denounce the Charter of the Organization of American States (OAS) and to resign from this Organization.

The OAS has remained silent on many occasions when coups d'état have taken place in our region. It has also been an accomplice to attempts at isolation and military interventions and has supported economic aggressions.
