Cuban Doctors, Embedded in Belizean Hearts and Culture
Cuban Doctors and nurses have become a permanent part of the Belizean medical landscape - and right that they should because they have been here for 28 years.
That's right, Cuba has been sending medical personnel to Belize since 1990. and, right now, there are 87 Cubans serving in the Belizean health sector.
And, this week in Havana, Cuba Health Minister Pablo Marin honored them at an event held at a celebrated art gallery and community center.
