The participants in the National Solidarity Encounter, most of whom have benefited from Belize’s long friendship with the island nation, are calling on the Belizean people to assist where possible with the following resolutions, read out by Joshua Magana.

Today the Image Factory in Belize City hosted the fifth National Solidarity Encounter between Belize and Cuba. The audience was made up of people young and old from across the country that wanted show their respect and support for Cuba. We stopped by this morning and found out that it was more than just a solidarity declaration, it was also an art show honouring Cuba.
Today the National Encounter - SOLIDARITY BELIZE-CUBA was an amazing engagement of ideas and re-newed focus on the meaning of the friendly bonds between our two countries.
