Cuba bids an affectionate farewell to the Ambassador of Uruguay to Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, May 11, 2025.- In a gesture of affection and respect, the Ambassadors of Cuba to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the African Union, Meylin Suárez and Lucas Domingo Hernández, went to Bole International Airport on Sunday morning to bid farewell to the Ambassador of Uruguay, Néstor Alejandro Rosa Navarro,  who concludes his diplomatic mission after five years of intense and committed work on Ethiopian soil.

Cuba attended the celebration in Seychelles of the 80th Anniversary of Victory Day

Officials of the Cuban Embassy participated in the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory over Fascism, organized by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Seychelles.

After the emotional words of the Russian Ambassador Artyom Khozhin, the participants paid tribute to the fallen with wreaths that were placed in front of the Memorial dedicated to the fallen combatants of the First and Second World War, at the Mont Flourie Cemetery in the city of Victoria.

On the occasion of Mother's Day, a large group of Cubans living in Athens, along with Embassy officials, gathered at the premises of this diplomatic mission to joyfully celebrate this traditional holiday.
The event was a tender and loving tribute to all the mothers of the world, but especially to Cubans, and to the Motherland, geographically distant, but very present and deeply rooted in the minds and hearts of all.

Cuban Hospital celebrates scientific and educational day in commemoration of International Nursing Day.

(Doha, May 10, 2025) - A scientific and educational day was held at the Cuban Hospital in Dukhan, State of Qatar, on the occasion of International Nursing Day. The event was dedicated to the management of postpartum hemorrhage based on the presentation of a real clinical case, covering all the stages of the same from the patient's admission to her discharge with satisfactory results.

The 106 on-site and 248 virtual participants analyzed the main challenges to be faced during this type of medical emergency.
