The First Cuban Son Festival in London came to a successful conclusion

With a vibrant week dedicated to the rhythm, tradition and cultural identity of the Island, the First Cuban Son Festival in London concluded with great success, leaving indelible marks on the British and Cuban public. The initiative, led by Cuban dancer Damarys Farres together with an enthusiastic team of artists, friends and enthusiasts interested in son, offered an excellent cultural experience that celebrated the best of traditional Cuban music.

Cuba attended the celebration in Seychelles of the 80th Anniversary of Victory Day

Officials of the Cuban Embassy participated in the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory over Fascism, organized by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Seychelles.

After the emotional words of the Russian Ambassador Artyom Khozhin, the participants paid tribute to the fallen with wreaths that were placed in front of the Memorial dedicated to the fallen combatants of the First and Second World War, at the Mont Flourie Cemetery in the city of Victoria.

III Meeting of Cubans Residents in Thailand

The Cuban Embassy in Thailand organized the III Meeting of Cuban Residents in Thailand as part of the strengthening of ties with the Cuban community abroad. The activity began with the singing of our national anthem and allowed to share experiences, reaffirm our national identity and discuss issues of common interest.

The event was attended by the Cuban Ambassador to Thailand, Pedro Pablo San Jorge Rodriguez and Consul Niurka de la O Mojena as well as representatives of the Cuban community living in various Thai cities.
