Ambassador of Cuba delivers presentation on the reality of her country

As part of the International Workers' Day celebrations, the Ambassador of Cuba Maria del Carmen Herrera Caseiro was invited to participate in the Sustainable Economy Forum in New Zealand’s West Coast region, occasion in which she delivered an extensive presentation on the process of updating the Cuban economic model and the recent developments in the relations between Cuba and the US.

Samoa’s Primer Minister and Cuban Ambassador meet

Apia, Samoa. Within the framework of her farewell visit to Samoa, the Ambassador of Cuba Maria del Carmen Herrera Caseiro, met with the Prime Minister of this country, the Honourable Tuilaepa Lupesoliai Sailele Malielegaoi.

During the encounter, the two officials commented on the recent developments in the relations between Cuba and the US, agreeing that the persistence of the economic, commercial and financial blockade was the main obstacle for progress towards the normalization of ties between the two countries.
