Cuban ambassador delivers greetings from President Díaz-Canel to the President of Dominica on the occasion of Independence Day.

Roseau, November 11, 2025.— The President of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Sylvanie Burton, received Cuban Ambassador Miguel Fraga this morning in an exchange that reaffirmed the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

 

During the meeting, the Cuban diplomat delivered to the Head of State an official note from his counterpart, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, expressing his congratulations to the Government and people of Dominica on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of their independence.

 

Cuba reaffirmed at the UN, its determination to fight impunity and its commitment to impartial and truly independent international criminal justice.

New York, November 11, 2025. — During the debate on agenda item 76 of the UN General Assembly, concerning the "Report of the International Criminal Court," Ambassador Yuri Ariel Gala López, Chargé d'affaires, a.i. of the Permanent Mission of Cuba to the United Nations, reiterated Cuba's commitment to fighting impunity for crimes affecting the international community.

Cuban Embassy honours legacy of October Revolution in commemorative ceremony

November 9: The Cuban Embassy in the United Kingdom joined in commemorating the 108th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution, a historic event that profoundly marked the course of peoples in their struggle for social justice, equality, and emancipation.

During the ceremony, Cuban Ambassador Ismara Vargas Walter highlighted the enduring principles of solidarity and sovereignty that link the Russian revolutionary epic with the Cuban people's own anti-imperialist struggle, from the Apostle José Martí to the historic leader Fidel Castro.
