Prime Minister of Barbados bid farewell the Ambassador of Cuba

The Honorable Mia Amor Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados, in bidding farewell to Cuban Ambassador Francisco Fernandez at the end of his four-year tour of duty in the country and wishing him success in his future tasks, evaluated the main results of the bilateral relationship, pondering her first priority to a technical assistance project for teaching the Spanish language, which she considers essential to comply with her Government strategy with a view to ensuring that all Barbadian youths are bilingual by the year 2030. In that interview, in which Cuban Consul Ana Labaut was also present, the Barbadian Premier considered the aforementioned project as the axis of articulation to make more effective cooperation in other spheres such as health, education and culture.

The President of the Turkmen Parliament meets with the Ambassador of Cuba

The President of the Parliament of Turkmenistan, Gulshat Mammedova Sahyyevna, received the island's ambassador, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, at the headquarters of that national institution, with whom he reviewed bilateral issues and the social development of both nations.

The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere and also served to exchange on the possibilities of cooperation in the economic, business, sports, cultural and academic spheres.

Oamaru Mail - Cuban ambassador opens exhibition

It was a memorable day for staff and pupils at St Kevin’s College last Wednesday when Cuban ambassador Mario Alzugaray Rodriguez visited the school.

Accompanied by his wife Elizabeth and their son Mauricio, Mr Alzugaray Rodriguez officially opened a photography exhibition at the school.

Director of the Nigerian Foreign Ministry received the Ambassador of Cuba

NIGERIA, October 29, 2018. The Director of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Richard Adejola, received at the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Carlos Trejo Sosa.
The meeting took place in a cordial and respectful atmosphere reflecting the existing relations between Cuba and Nigeria. During the meeting highlighted the historical cultural links that unite both nations and ratified the consolidation of these ties.
