Cuba Announces New Migratory Measures.

As part of the continuous and irreversible process of updating the country's migration policy, the Cuban government has decided to approve the following measures, which will take effect on January 1st , 2018:

1) Eliminate the "Enabling" of the passport of Cuban emigrants for travelling to Cuba

2) Authorize the entry and exit to Cuba of Cuban citizens residents abroad on recreational boats, through the International Tourist Marinas Hemingway and GaviotaVaradero. Once the conditions are created, it would be extended progressively to other marinas.

Vice President of Prensa Latina visits Iran.

Between October 26th and 29th, Héctor Miranda, vice president of Prensa Latina News Agency, made a work visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, with the objective of holding meetings with directors of the HISPAN TV News Network.

On the morning of October 28th, a fruitful meeting took place with the Iranian side, chaired by Mr. Ali Ejarehdar, General Director of the HISPAN TV News Agency. During this meeting, both sides reiterated their willingness to strengthen ties and identified areas of cooperation in the short and medium term.

Malaysian media highlights the damages caused by blockade to Cuba

Kuala Lumpur, October 30 - The national news agency Bernama published the article "US Blockade An Obstacle For Cuba To Establish International Cooperation" after the press conference offered by the Cuban ambassador in that country, Ibete Fernández Hernández, to present the report on the damages of the blockade against Cuba.

The article, written by journalist Samantha Tan, cites examples of the extraterritorial application of the blockade and the hardening that this policy has suffered in recent months.
