The newly elected mayoress of Banjul, Rohey Malick Lowe welcomed the Cuban ambassador, Lázaro Herrera, at her City Council´s office in Banjul, where they held a fraternal exchange. In a cordial and friendly atmosphere, the Cuban diplomat congratulated mayoress Malick Lowe for her election as head of City Hall and for being the first woman to hold this responsibility in The Gambia.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba will visit countries in the Caribbean

Georgetown, 6th June 2018 - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Rogelio Sierra Díaz, begins today a work visit to the Caribbean region. The visit will extend to June 16. The tour includes, in addition to Surinam, the four countries that simultaneously established diplomatic relations on December 8 1972, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Guyana, and Jamaica.
