Members of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Namibia, brothers and sisters of the Namibia-Cuba Friendship Association, collaborators and Cuban residents enjoyed the screening of the documentary "Cuba, stories of an endless Revolution". The occasion was also favorable for Ambassador Giraldo Mazola to explain to the attendees the results obtained by Cuba this year in the Third Cycle of the Universal Periodic Review in Human Rights, in the Human Rights Council of the United Nations.
KINGTSON, JAMAICA, June 7th, 2018.- The Minister of Health of Jamaica, Dr. Christopher Tufton, received the Cuban Ambassador to this Caribbean nation, Ines Fors Fernandez.
During the cordial meeting, held at the Ministry of Health, both parts reviewed the situation of the bilateral relations, in particular, the cooperation in the area of Health. Likewise, the officials assessed the common efforts to identify new areas for collaboration for the benefit of the two peoples.
Organized by Engage Cuba and McDermott Will & Emery, a congressional Cuba trade roundtable event took place on June 7 where Republican legislators of the U.S. Congress advocated for trade relations between Cuba and the United States, particularly in the field of agriculture, which, they stated, would be mutually beneficial and represent an important economic opportunity for the U.S. market.
