The US State Department uses the granting of visas to affect diplomatic relations with Cuba

During the past few months, the US State Department has been concocting a new pretext to affect bilateral diplomatic relations, associated to the granting of the diplomatic and official visas required by the staff of the respective embassies in Washington and Havana to perform their duties.  The maneuver consists in claiming that Cuba is hindering the granting of visas for designated officials at the US embassy in Cuba, which allegedly hinders the work of that diplomatic mission.

HOMAGE TO FIDEL IN ETHIOPIA

Addis Ababa. The second anniversary of the passing of the Commander in Chief of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, was conmemorated in a special tribute at the Embassy of Cuba in Ethiopia.

In attendance, all the Cubans cooperants working in the capital, Cubans living in Ethiopia as well as a large group of the Ethio-Cubans.

Cuba reiterates in the UN its solidarity with the Palestinian cause.

New York, November 30, 2018. Cuba participated today in the General Debate on agenda Item 39 of the UN General Assembly, devoted to the Question of Palestine, where it expressed its deep concern about the situation in the Middle East region, buffeted by violence, interference in internal affairs, external aggression and long-term conflicts, such as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the core of the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Farewell activity of the Cuban Ambassador presided over by the Speaker of the House and the Minister of Trade and Industry.

Port of Spain, November 30th, 2018 – Officials of the Government and State, representatives of the social movements, businessmen, academics, recognized figures of the Trinidadian civil society and the diplomatic corps accredited in Port of Spain, participated in the farewell activity on the occasion of the end of tenure of the Ambassador of Cuba to Trinidad and Tobago and permanent representative to the Association of Caribbean States, Cro. Guillermo Vazquez Moreno, in the Caribbean sister island.
