The First Caribbean Conference for Peace was held in Barbados.

Barbados, October 6. The various existing peace organizations in the Caribbean and other progressive organizations such as the International Network in Defense of Humanity - Caribbean Chapter (NIDOH-C) and anti-imperialist personalities from eight nations of the subregion met in Bridgetown convened by the World Council peace.

Barbados is commemorating the 1976 terrorist attack.

Barbadian chancellor Maxine McClean and Cuban Ambassador Francisco Fernández presided over the commemoration of the 41st Anniversary of the Crime of Barbados in which the 73 people on board were killed in the attack on Cubana de Aviación by terrorist groups based in the territory from the USA This occasion was special due to the presence not only of the sporting workers working on the island, but also of the delegates from 8 countries attending the First Caribbean Conference for Peace, among which was the companion Silvio Platero, president of MovPaz and coordinator regional level of the Wo

With the motto Keep Trump out of Latin America – Solidarity with Venezuela! a day of solidarity with the sister country was held on Friday 6 October. The Ecuador, Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba together standing against Trump panel discussion was held, where the Ambassadors of Nicaragua and Cuba took the floor, as well as some representatives from Ecuadorian and Venezuelan Embassies.
