A major delegation from the health sector in Zimbabwe will make an official visit to Cuba from September 17 to 24, invited by Cuban Health Minister Dr. Roberto Morales Ojeda
On Saturday, September 9, a delegation of 3 specialists from the University of Zimbabwe came to Cuba to negotiate a collaboration agreement with Heber Biotec on the manufacture of medicines. The visit, which runs until September 15, will also assess how to introduce these products in Zimbabwe.

We are deeply grateful for the countless expressions of solidarity received towards the Cuban people and government, in the face of the damage caused by the devastating Hurricane Irma that hit our national territory for more than 72 hours, with wind gusts that sometimes exceeded 250 kilometres per hour.
At the moment the heavy damages caused by this meteorological phenomenon are being assessed, while our authorities, civil society organizations and people at large face the stage of recovery.
