Important Notice

From this Friday July 21 to August 2, 2017 the consular services will be suspended.


These services will be gradually restored as of August 3 of this year.


It is because next week there are cuban national holidays in and also some adjustments need to be made in the Consular System, as the consular functions will be performed by a New Consular Officer because the current Consular Officer ends his Diplomatic Mission in India.

Ambassador Napoleon Abdulai ratifies historic ties between Ghana and Cuba

Mr. Napoleon Abdulai, who recently received from President Nana Akufo-Addo the Letters that accredit him as head of the Diplomatic Mission of Ghana in Havana, visited the Cuban Embassy in Accra, accompanied by his wife.

Mr. Abdulai, who expressed his satisfaction with the task assigned by his President, was received by the Chargé d'Affaires a.i., Julio César Sánchez. Both diplomats addressed issues related to the historical relations between Ghana and Cuba, and especially about the need to strengthen the bilateral cooperation.

In all their various expressions, the posters should reflect the claim being made by Cuba and the international community for the end of the blockade which continues to be enforced by the United States and hurts the Cuban people. Designers, artists and students from Cuba and other countries may apply. The posters can be made by one individual or a group of up to 5 persons and more than one poster per participant may be submitted.
