Cuban Ambassador reinforces ties of friendship with Trade Unions in Ghana

The Ambassador of Cuba to Ghana, Pedro Luis Despaigne González participated in the central celebration of the May Day Parade carried out in the Black Star Square in Accra.

In the activity, which counted with the participation of the President of the Republic, Nana Dankwa Addo Akufo-Addo, was mentioned the presence of the Cuban diplomat in the words expressed to the audience by Dr. Yaw Baah, Secretary General of the Trades Union Congress (TUC).

The Pesident of the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) George Mavrikos condemns U.S. blockade to Cuba , during an interview in Havana, where he attends the activities of May First, (Labour day), the international solidarity meeting with Cuba and the Annual Presidential Council of WFTU.

Former Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda visits ICAP

Former premier Antigua and Barbuda, Winston Baldwin Spencer exchanged with Fernando González Llort, Hero of the Republic of Cuba and president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), on his visit to that institution.

Both Baldwin Spencer and the delegation that accompanied him received extensive information from Fernando related to the work of ICAP and the struggles in which the Cuban social institution accompanied by the International Movement of Solidarity with Cuba is immersed.
