After a brief evaluation of the behavior of the Economy Plan during the first quarter of this year, Ricardo Cabrisas, Cuba´s Minister of Economy and Planning, presented the proposal of guidelines for the elaboration of the Plan of the Economy and the Budget of the State for 2018, in which it was considered to consolidate and guarantee the continuity and sustainability of what was approved in the 2017 Plan.
The solemn ceremony was organized by the Cuban National Authority for the implementation of the Convention and was chaired by José Fidel Santana Núñez, Vice-Minister of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA), Fermín Quiñones Sánchez, Director General of ACNU and Alba Guillén Campos, representative of the Director General of the Office of Environmental Regulation and Nuclear Safety.
The Latin American News Agency Prensa Latina officially reopened its correspondent’s office to the United States, located in Washington D.C., in an event held on April 28, in the Bolivarian Room, in this city.
Last April 28 it was held an event in honour of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro at th city of Thessaloniki, the second largest city of Greece.

SYRIA, April 27, 2017.- The Embassy of Cuba in Syria held a friendly exchange with professors and students of the Hispanic Center of the University of Damascus, in commemoration of the 5th Anniversary of its creation.
The meeting was attended by government officials, Baath Party and Syrian Parliament, Spanish-speaking representatives of the Diplomatic Corps and International Organizations accredited in Damascus as well as Syrian professionals graduated in Cuba and Cuban citizens residing in Syria.
