Cuban Delegation to the OPCW Takes Part in NAM Chairmanship Hand Over Ceremony.

The Cuban Delegation to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) took part in the ceremony in which the hand over ceremony of the chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement, plus China, held in the headquarters of this international organization.
During the ceremony, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran (outgoing) and the Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (incoming), and other Ambassadors and officials spoke to the attendees reassuring their commitment to NAM.
 

Cuba and New Zealand promote exchanges in agricultural field

Auckland, Sept. 29 2016. - On the occasion of the visit to New Zealand by a delegation from the Cuban company Alimport, it was possible to confirm the interest of both parties to promote greater exchanges and business.

The Cuban delegation, headed by Robert de la O Zapata, Commercial Director of Alimport, fulfilled a broad program coordinated by Fonterra, in whose headquarters offered a presentation on the work of this Cuban organization and its business outlook.

Kuala Lumpur, September 28- In an exclusive live interview with the radio station, TraXX FM, the Ambassador of Cuba to Malaysia, Ibete Fernandez explained about the economic impact it has had on Cubathe blockade imposed by the United States.

The Ambassador announced that the persistence of the blockade prevents Cuba to have normal trade relations, not only with the US but with other countries, due to the deterrent and punitive purposes of this policy.

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 27 (Bernama) -- Cuba intends to present a resolution before the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) next month against the blockade imposed by the US, which still remained in place, despite renewed diplomatic ties more than a year ago.

Cuban Ambassador to Malaysia, Ibete Fernandez Hernandez, said at a press conference that the resolution titled "Necessity of Ending The Economic, Commercial and Financial Embargo Imposed by the United States Against Cuba" will be brought before the 71st Session of the UNGA on Oct 26.
