Pandit Chaturlal Memorial Society in India encourages the dissemination of information on the 90th birthday of Fidel.

New Delhi, August 9, 2016.- The Padit Chatur Lal Memorial Society enabled  the charge d' affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Cuba in India, Marileydis Dueñas Morales to expose a few words about the significance of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz and the day of celebrations that would take place on his 90th birthday in India and other parts of the world, to the audience to a cultural gala held in the theater of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR for its acronym in English).

Cuban Ambassador Presents Credentials in Cook Islands

Rarotonga, August 3, 2016. – H.E. Mr. Mario Alzugaray, presented the letters accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba (non-resident from New Zealand) to the Queen’s Representative in Cook Islands, Hon. Tom John Marsters, in a solemn ceremony at the Government House in this capital.

Ambassador Mario Alzugaray visited today H.E. Teremoana Yala, High Commissioner of the Cook Islands to New Zealand, in order to coordinate his forthcoming trip to the Cook Islands to present his letters of credentials to the Queen´s Representative Tom Marsters.

With the presence of the Minister of Health of Ghana, Dr. Alex Segbefia, was commemorated the 63rd Anniversary of the 26 of July actions. The Minister of Health, the former Ambassador of Ghana to Cuba, Mr. Amoo Gottfreid, and the President of theCuban Trained Ghanaian Graduates Association (ESBECAN) took part in the Political-Cultural Activity held at the Cuban Embassy. Their interventions addressed different angles of the historical ties between our two countries and peoples.

Cuban antiterrorists Gerardo and René at Unite union conference

UNITED KINGDOM, 12 July 2016.- Len McCluskey, leader of the British union Unite, welcomed Cuban heroes, Gerardo and Rene, to the union conference in Brighton, devoting a space to their relatives.

Meanwhile, both Cuban antiterrorists thanked this British union for their commitment in support of the struggle of the labour movement in Britain for the liberation of the Cuban Five; They highlighted the gestures received from their former leader, Tony Woodley, who repeatedly visited Gerardo in prison, being the last person to see him there before his release.
