Vienna, October 8. The collective of the Cuban Embassy in Austria together with members of the Austria-Cuba Friendship Association (ÖKG) and other friends of Cuba, staged a tribute to the Heroic Guerrilla, Ernesto Che Guevara on the 57th anniversary of his fall in combat.

Vienna, September 28. Cuba and its culture were represented at the Long Night of Interculturality that takes place every year at the Vienna City Hall.
In the main hall of the Rathaus, the World Costume Gala took place and among other 33 national costumes, the participants were able to learn and visualize the use of the Cuban guayabera and the yarey hat as representative pieces of our cultural tradition.

The magazine Epoha, a portal for culture, has published an article by Croatian professor Silva Knežević promoting the signing of the open letter drafted by French intellectual Ignacio Ramonet and addressed to the President of the United States, which calls for removing Cuba from the illegal list of State Sponsors of Terrorism drawn up by the U.S. State Department.
