The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba expresses its profound concern and categorical rejection of the decision by the Government of the United States to exclude three countries, including Cuba, from the Tenth Summit of the Americas, scheduled for December 4 and 5 in Punta Cana.

Cuban resident promotes Cuban dances in Austria

Vienna, September 24. With the special participation of Cuban residents alongside Austrians and diplomatic representatives accredited in Austria, one of the galas of the Long Nights of Interculturality, which take place every year at Vienna City Hall, was held yesterday.

Cuban resident Luis Estévez and his project “Ritmo Tropical” showed attendees a selection of Cuban dances and rhythms, while promoting initiatives aimed at training those interested in mastering Cuban dance techniques.

Cuban film screened at the Cervantes Institute in Vienna

Vienna, September 23. The Ibero-American Film Nights organized by the Cervantes Institute in Vienna began today with the screening of the Cuban film “Buscando a Casal” (Looking for Casal), attended by the Austrian public, Cuban residents, international officials, and members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Vienna.

Cuba present at the Long Nights of Interculturality in Vienna

Vienna, September 23. Cuba and its culture were once again represented at the Long Nights of Interculturality, which take place every year at Vienna City Hall.

The World Costume Gala took place in the main hall of the Rathaus Palace, where members of the Ritmo Tropical project led by Cuban resident Luis Estévez delighted the audience with rhythms and traditional costumes from the island, while showcasing our cultural tradition.

Exhibition in honor of Tamara Bunke opens in St. Pölten, Austria

Vienna, September 19, 2025.– First Secretary Lisset González López attended the opening of an exhibition dedicated to the life and legacy of Tamara Bunke, “Tania la Guerrillera,” at a ceremony held in St. Pölten, capital of the federal state of Lower Austria.

The exhibition pays tribute to the internationalist and revolutionary who dedicated her life to the struggle for justice and the sovereignty of peoples. The event was attended by representatives of social movements, members of the academic community, and friends of Cuba.
