Cuban Embassy participates in opening of exhibition and book presentation by Chilean artist Luis Villarroel

The exhibition and presentation of the book “Los Caminos de mi Vida” (The Paths of My Life) by Chilean artist Luis Villarroel took place yesterday in the Frida Kahlo Room of the Austrian Institute for Latin America. The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, members of the Latin American community in Vienna, and art lovers.
Minister of CITMA holds meeting with Director General of IAEA
Vienna, September 16. The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Mr. Rafael Mariano Grossi, received the Minister of Science, Technology, and Environment, Armando Rodríguez Batista, who heads the Cuban delegation to the 69th IAEA General Conference.
During the meeting, both parties discussed the excellent state of relations between the International Organization and Cuba, and exchanged views on the successful implementation of technical cooperation projects and the potential for strengthening them.
Cuba and the CTBTO sign a tsunami warning agreement
Vienna, September 16. On Tuesday, Cuba signed a tsunami warning agreement with the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) to improve planning and response capabilities in the event of this type of natural disaster.
The agreement between Cuba and the CTBTO Preparatory Commission took place at the organization's headquarters and was signed by its Executive Secretary, Dr. Robert Floyd, and Cuba's Minister of Science, Technology, and Environment, Dr. Armando Rodríguez Batista.
