Cuba deposits the instrument of extension of the ARCAL Agreement
Vienna, March 19. At the headquarters of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the Republic of Cuba deposited the instrument of extension of the Agreement on Cooperation for the Promotion of Nuclear Science and Technology in Latin America and the Caribbean (ARCAL). The formal ceremony was led by the Cuban Ambassador, Pablo Berti Oliva, and by the Director of the Latin America Division of the IAEA’s Department of Technical Cooperation, Luis Longoria Gandara.

10,000 euros worth of medicines donated to Cuba from Austria
Vienna, March 19. The Communist Party of Austria in Styria (KPÖ Steiermark) and the Communist Youth of Austria (@kommunistischejugend) made a donation of medicines worth 10,000 euros, which are already in Cuba as part of the Convoy Nuestra América, an international initiative that will converge in Havana on March 21 to deliver material aid to the Cuban people.
In Austria, more than a hundred activists are calling for “Solidarity with Cuba Now”

More than a hundred representatives from political organizations and groups supporting Cuba gathered in Vienna for the “Solidarity with Cuba Now” event, organized by the Austrian-Cuban Friendship Association (Österreichisch-Kubanische Gesellschaft (ÖKG)) and co-sponsored by the Left-Wing Trade Union Bloc (GLB), to reaffirm support for the island in the face of the intensifying U.S. blockade.
