Croatian magazine Epoha publishes an article against the blockade and the inclusion of Cuba on the List of State Sponsors of Terrorism.

Vienna, September 19, 2024. The magazine Epoha, a portal for culture, has published an article by Croatian professor Silva Knežević promoting the signing of the open letter drafted by French intellectual Ignacio Ramonet and addressed to the President of the United States, which calls for removing Cuba from the illegal list of State Sponsors of Terrorism drawn up by the U.S. State Department.

The Cuban delegation congratulates you on your election to preside over this session of the 68th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency, as well as the rest of the members of the bureau, ratifying our permanent willingness to contribute to the success of this meeting.

Cuba promotes sports cooperation in Austria.

Vienna, August 26. Sport as a cultural, recreational and health space is one of the topics on which the work of the Cuban Embassy in Austria is focused, also concurrent for Slovenia and Croatia.

Award-winning sportsman Leonardo Pedroso Sotolongo, a Cuban citizen residing in Austria, has been defending the colors of our flag in local and international wrestling and judo competitions for years, in addition to promoting a campaign for non-violence working with young people who practice various sports disciplines.

Cuban Embassy expresses condolences on the death of former Vietnamese president.

On the afternoon of July 26, the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Cuban Embassy in Austria, Reinier Travieso Guerra signed the book of condolences opened by the Embassy of Vietnam in Vienna, for the death of comrade Nguyen Phú Trong, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and former president of the country.
