Vienna, September 10—Cuba’s ambassador to Austria, Pablo Berti Oliva, denounced in the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) the intensification of the U.S. blockade and the energy blockade, including their impact on the survival of cancer patients, especially children.

In an atmosphere of camaraderie and as part of the centennial celebrations for Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, the diplomatic missions of Cuba, Vietnam, and Laos to Austria held a trilateral working meeting, where they reaffirmed the excellent ties between the three countries, their peoples, governments, and political parties. Documentary on Fidel Castro to Be Screened in Vienna as a Tribute to His Centennial
Vienna, August 15, 2026 – The screening of the documentary “Anecdotes of Fidel,” by renowned American filmmaker Estela Bravo, was part of the tribute to the Commander-in-Chief organized by the Cuban Embassy in Austria as part of the activities marking the centennial of his birth. The event brought together representatives from various Austrian political parties and organizations, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Vienna, members of the Cuban community residing in Austria, and staff from the Cuban diplomatic mission.
