Cuban Ambassador meets with Vienna District 7 Chief to strengthen community ties
Vienna, December 9, 2025.- The Cuban Ambassador to Austria, Pablo Berti Oliva, held a working meeting with Mr. Markus Reiter, Head of Vienna's District 7 (Neubau), at the district administration headquarters.
During the cordial meeting, both parties expressed their willingness to work together for the benefit of the Neubau community. Ambassador Berti Oliva emphasized the Diplomatic Mission's special pride in being the only one located in District 7.

Cuban Embassy participates in exhibition featuring illustrations of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals
Vienna, November 25. Officials from the Cuban Embassy in Austria participated in an illustrated exhibition on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) organized by the Cervantes Institute in Vienna and the United Nations Group of Friends of Spanish.
The exhibition, which included the participation of Ibero-American countries and friends of the Spanish language, was created with the aim of raising awareness of the 17 SDGs, using artistic language such as illustration.

Vienna, November 12, 2025. The exhibition "Drawings in Cuba" by our supportive friend Ali Kohlbacher was inaugurated in the VHS hall in Heitzig, Vienna.
At the opening of the exhibition, Cuban Ambassador Pablo Berti Oliva recalled that Ali Kohlbacher traveled to Cuba for the first time in 1986, where he made his first drawings with Cuban motifs. He did so as one of the co-founders of the Austria-Cuba Friendship Association, and this was followed by more than 20 trips to the country.
