Cuba to resubmit resolution against U.S. economic blockade

Havana, Sep 15 (Prensa Latina) Cuba has the right to live without a U.S. economic blockade, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said, announcing that in November his country will once again present a draft resolution to put an end to that policy.

Delegation of Belize Water Services makes a working visit to Cuba

Havana, September, 13 2022.- As part of its visit to Cuba, the delegation of Belize Water Services, headed by Mr. Cornelio Acosta, Chairman of the Board of BWS Ltd held a meeting with Alexander Argilagos, President of the OSDE, Integrated management of terrestrial waters (GIAT) from the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources of Cuba. Bishkek, Aug 26 (Prensa Latina) Cuba is strengthening trade and economic ties with the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) affected by the incidence of the Covid-19 pandemic, Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero stated.

Condolences expressed in Cuba for fire victims

Havana, Aug 18 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel sent condolences to the families and friends of those who died during a major fire in the industrial zone of the western city of Matanzas.

From his Twitter account, the president reiterated that the island is in official mourning, for two days, as a tribute to the “valuable lives that were lost in the confrontation with the fire at the Supertanqueros base”.
