Vice President of Cuba Inés María Chapman holds a cordial meeting with Baleka Mbete, President of the National Assembly of South Africa

Pretoria, March 24, 2019.- The President of the National Assembly of South Africa, Hon. Mrs. Baleka, received the Inés María Chapman, Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, the first of the meetings she will hold with authorities. of governments during his official visit to South Africa.

In the cordial meetings held, the strong position of the South African Parliament of opposition to the resurgence of the economic and financial economic blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba was reiterated.

Cuba and The Bahamas confirm the excellent state of their bilateral relations

Nassau, 11 February 2019.
