Cuba and The Bahamas confirm the excellent state of their bilateral relations

Nassau, 11 February 2019. In a cordial meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Bahamas, the Foreign Minister of that Caribbean nation, Honorable Darren Allan Henfield and the Cuban Ambassador, Ismara M. Vargas Walter, reiterated the will of their countries to consolidating the level of cooperation reached.

During the meeting, both parties reviewed the different areas of the bilateral relations and verified their excellent state.

The ambassador also referred to the most recent examples of the strengthening of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba.
