Unique medicines of its kind in the world such as Heberprot-P, the CIMAvax-EGF vaccine, as well as the creation of therapies for the treatment of diseases of the central nervous system, cancer, hepatitis B or meningoencephalitis have turned Cuba into a world power in biotechnology.

Cuba and Mongolia for closer cooperation ties in the biotechnology sector.

Cuba and Iran aim to revive its scientific collaboration

A delegation of the Cuban scientific sector, headed by Dr. Luis Herrera Martinez, Scientific and Commercial Advisor of the Higher Business Management Organization “BioCubaFarma”, arrived in Tehran for talks with Pasteur Institute of Iran. Upon arrival at the Iranian capital the delegation was received by representatives of this institute and the Ambassador of Cuba, Vladimir González Quesada.
