Havana, Aug 24 (ACN) Cuban medical collaboration extends in Oceania with the departure of a brigade of internationalists to the Republic of Nauru, a small island of Micronesia, located in the Central Pacific.
Specialists in Oncology, Nephrology, Psychiatry, Endocrinology, Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine, Angiology, among others, will arrive in the country, some 12 thousand kilometers away from Cuba, to attend to the main health problems of the nation and develop health education activities.
After almost two decades of successful collaboration in the field of health, Cuba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines are working on updating the bases of cooperation in this important area, with the spur of recent arrival of a significant number of Cuban health professionals, who will work in the Modern Medical Center (CDI) of Georgetown with their Vincentian colleagues.
Jakarta, April 15, 2018. From the 10th to 13th of April a delegation from the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Cuba made a visit to Indonesia, in order to identify possible cooperation projects.
During the visit, Cuban officials held meetings with the Indonesian authorities and visited places of interest. Both parties exchanged information concerning the evolution of the area in their respective countries and recognized the existence of potential for cooperation.
