Esteemed President Ilham Aliyev,

Distinguished Heads of State and Government,

I thank Azerbaijan, the Chairman of the Non-Aligned Movement, for calling to this meeting to exchange on the urgent and needed efforts which allow us to face COVID-19.

One thousand 218 Cuban health professionals, integrated into 20 “Henry Reeve” medical brigades, have left for 19 nations in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa and the Middle East, in the midst of the pandemic, to help contain those affected territories the spread of a virus, which we already know, will be won only with cooperation and solidarity.

Cuba to receive British cruise ship MS Braemar

Last March 13, the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland requested from the Cuban authorities that MS Braemar, a member of the Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, be authorized to dock in a Cuban port and that its passengers, a small number of which have been affected by the novel coronavirus (SARS CoV 2/Covid-19), be cleared for repatriation by air.
