Through a videoconference held between Havana-Baku-Tashkent, specialists, researchers and executives of the health systems of Uzbekistan and Cuba discussed the Cuban drugs used in the protocols against the coronavirus.
With the presence of the Uzbek Deputy Minister of Health, Abdulla Azizov, medicine and drug experts from both nations valued Biomodulin T, made by the Cuban company Biocen for the treatment of respiratory conditions in older adults by Covid-19.
Cuba gaved a batch of national drug Interferon Alpha 2B to Vietnam, to support the Indochinese country's combat against the COVID-19 pandemic, in a ceremony chaired by Ambassador, Lianys Torres Rivera, and the member of the Communist Party Central Committee and Vietnam Deputy Minister of National Defense, Colonel General Nguyen Chi Vinh.
In the symbolic acceptance ceremony, the diplomat highlighted the application of Heberón, the drug's trade name, in COVID-19 patients, and its favorable effect on reducing the fatality rate among heavy cases.

Based on its own research-development (R&D) model, which integrates the management of science, medical and epidemiological care, according to its developers, the Cuban methodology for the disease focuses on the preventive and therapeutic aspects.

Suva, May 12th. The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Fiji, Carlos Manuel Rojas Lago, reaffirmed his country's will to cooperate in the fight against COVID-19 with the nations that make up the Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) by intervening in a virtual working session convened by the Secretariat of that organization, in order to review the regional response to the pandemic.
