Cuban Ambassador Signs Book of Condolences Opened Following the Death of Princess Bajrakitiyabha

Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge and Consul Niurka de la O signed the Book of Condolences opened at the Grand Royal Palace following the death of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha, expressing their deepest condolences on behalf of the Cuban government and people.
Princess Bajrakitiyabha of Thailand, the eldest daughter of King Maha Vajiralongkorn, passed away at the age of 47 on June 11, 2026, after being hospitalized in a coma since 2022.

Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge attended the Royal Plowing and Sowing Ceremony.

The Royal Plowing and Sowing Ceremony (Phra Ratcha Phithi Charot Phra Nangkhan Raek Na Khwan) is an ancient Brahmanic and Buddhist ritual that marks the traditional start of the rice planting season and pays tribute to farmers.
King Maha Vajiralongkorn (Rama X) usually presides over this annual event on the Sanam Luang esplanade, in front of the Grand Palace in Bangkok.
