First exhibition of Cuban artist in Amsterdam Public Library

The Hague, January 26, 2024. Representatives of the embassy had the pleasure of accompanying the Cuban artist Alberto “Molote” Muñoz, at the inauguration of his first painting exhibition “Dreams from Cuba”. The exhibition contains works that show the warmth and color of our Caribbean Island.

It constitutes the first exhibition of paintings by a Cuban artist at the Amsterdam Public Library (OBA) and was held with the support of OBA and the Cervantes Institute. It will remain open to the public until March 31 this year.

Friendly baseball match in the Netherlands

Breda, September 16, 2023: A friendly match between baseball players of the Jeka Club and Cuban residents took place in this important city in the south of the Netherlands. The attendees visited the facilities of the aforementioned sports club founded more than 60 years ago and celebrated a friendly game showing a point that unites both peoples: the passion for baseball.

The members of the Jeka Club are natives of the Dutch Caribbean and expressed their admiration for Cuba's "pelota".
