The Hague, January 26, 2024. Representatives of the embassy had the pleasure of accompanying the Cuban artist Alberto “Molote” Muñoz, at the inauguration of his first painting exhibition “Dreams from Cuba”. The exhibition contains works that show the warmth and color of our Caribbean Island.
It constitutes the first exhibition of paintings by a Cuban artist at the Amsterdam Public Library (OBA) and was held with the support of OBA and the Cervantes Institute. It will remain open to the public until March 31 this year.
As part of the inauguration, the Cuban musician also delighted those present with pieces from the Cuban national repertoire and of his own authorship. His trombone playing was accompanied by the excellent skills of the young Cuban pianist Laura Argudín, who received applauses and affections from the audience.
