Cuban Ambassador attended to the Connected Caribbean Summit 2025

The Cuban Ambassador to Grenada, Ivette Martinez,participated in the Connected Caribbean Summit 2025, where more than 200 leaders from the region, under the theme "Catalyzing the Transformation of the Caribbean," are exchanging ideas on how to accelerate regional progress in priority areas: economic resilience, digital innovation, judicial reform, strengthening governance, modernizing education, and financial inclusion.

Cuba celebrates 53 years of ties with Caribbean Nations

With a commitment to continue strengthening and further leveraging cooperation throughout the region, based on shared history and Caribbean brotherhood, Cuba celebrates its 53rd anniversary of diplomatic relations with the Caribbean.

Meeting at the Conference of Heads of Government in Chaguaramas, Trinidad and Tobago, in 1972, Prime Ministers Errol Barrow (Barbados), Michael Manley (Jamaica), Eric Williams (Trinidad and Tobago), and Forbes Burnham (Guyana) announced to the world their sovereign decision to establish relations with Cuba.
