Statement by the Association of Cuban Residents in South Africa in rejection of the aggressive escalade of the U.S. government against Cuba
Pretoria, May 20, 2019.-The Cuban residents in South Africa observe with great concern the aggressive manner in which the US government, led by Donald Trump, is undertaken the relations with our country of birth, particularly in the last period.
The new unilateral sanctions they have started to apply against Cuba seek to create hunger and despair in our people, in order to achieve political concessions.
