Cuba is not a sponsor of terrorism!

On January 11, 2021, the Trump administration accused Cuba of “repeatedly providing support for acts of international terrorism in granting safe harbor to terrorists”. This false accusation was weaponized against Cuba because of Cuba’s role in facilitating the internationally recognized Colombian peace accords.

This accusation is absolutely false, something that is recognized also by all serious political circles in the US. 

Cuban arms in Kahramanmaras, epicenter of the earthquake in Türkiye

A revolution of humanitarian aid and sensitivity has brought with it the sad reality left in Türkiye and Syria, in the early hours of February 6, by an earthquake of magnitude 7.7 on the Richter scale. Medical forces from various parts of the world, coordinated by the World Health Organization, following the international request for help, have marched in to offer health care and comfort.

U.S. activists send solidarity support to Cuba

United Nations, September 30

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez on Friday received solidarity support from US activists and representatives of progressive organizations ahead of damages caused by the passage of Hurricane Ian.

On Twitter, the Cuban foreign minister alluded the conversations with the activists, referring to uncountable human cost of the U.S. sanctions on Cuba.

Cuba's medical brigade goes to Kuwait to combat Covid-19 pandemic

Havana, June 5-  A Cuban medical brigade from the Henry Reeve internationalist contingent traveled yesterday to Kuwait to contribute to the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic in that Persian Gulf country.

The group made up of 96 doctors, 198 nurses and four specialists in other healthcare areas will join another brigade of 36 professionals from that branch that are already serving in that nation at the request of Kuwait's government, reported Cuban television.

Celebrated Moncada Day in Toronto.

Toronto,  July 23, 2018 .- Yesterday afternoon was held in Toronto the 65th anniversary of the attack on the Guillermon Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes Garrisons. The activity was organized by the Canadian-Cuban Friendship Association (CCFA- Toronto), Association of Cuban residents in Toronto "Juan Gualberto Gomez" (AJGG) and Latin-American and Caribbean Solidarity Network.
