Farewell courtesy call from the Cuban Ambassador to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saint Kitts and Nevis highlights relations of brotherhood between both nations.

The Foreign Minister thanked Cuba for the historical solidarity and cooperation and the contribution of the Ambassador during these years, to strengthening the ties between both countries. The diplomat, for his part, expressed his gratitude for all the support received from the authorities of the Federation, which has guaranteed the good performance of his management. In addition, he emphasized the recognition to the people and government of Saint Kitts and Nevis for their permanent support in various international scenarios.

Within the framework of the commemorations of the 29th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Saint Kitts and Nevis and Cuba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of this Federation, the Right Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas, who also heads the Ministries of Economic Development, International Trade, Investment, Industry and Trade, received ,a courtesy meeting by Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, David Rivero Pérez, at the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting, both parties welcomed one more anniversary of a fraternal and unwavering relationship between their peoples and governments.

Larry Vaughan, Head of the Regional Integration and Diaspora Unit in Saint Kitts and Nevis, paid a courtesy visit to the Ambassador of Cuba to this Federation, David Rivero Pérez, who extended warm congratulations for his recent accreditation as Ambassador to CARICOM, on March 13.
