Cuban Ambassador presents Style Copies of his Letters Credentials Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia

The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, delivered the Style Copies of the Credentials that accredit him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Georgia, to the first deputy minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this Caucasian nation, Vakhtang Makharoblishvili.
At the meeting, held at the headquarters of the Georgian Ministry, both parties assessed the state of bilateral ties and agreed in the interest of continuing to develop them.

Raúl arrives in Antigua and Barbuda to attend 6th CARICOM-Cuba Summit

Army General Raúl Castro Ruz arrived in Antigua and Barbuda, December 7, on an official visit to the country to attend the 6th CARICOM-Cuba Summit.

Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee and President of the Councils of State and Ministers arrived in Antigua and Barbuda, December 7, on an official visit to the country to attend the 6th CARICOM-Cuba Summit, to take place December 8.

President Raúl will also attend the Third Sitting of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Assembly.

Cuba and Croatia sign a MoU for the establishment of political consultations

Zagreb, 7 December 2017 – H.E. Mr. Vice Skračić, Assistant Minister for Political Affairs and H.E. Mr. Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios, Ambassador of Cuba in that country signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of both countries for the Establishment of Political Consultations at a ceremony held in Zagreb on 7 December.

Information from the Embassy of Cuba and the Consulate of Cuba in the Netherlands

The Embassy of Cuba in the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Consulate of Cuba in Rotterdam inform that they willl remain closed on December 25 and January 1 and 2 for the holidays and the celebration of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution respectively.

The Embassy and the Consulate will resume their activities on December 26, which will be the last day the Consulate will provide services in 2017. 

Both the Embassy and the Consulate will resume their activities on Wednesday January 3, 2018

On the instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan A.Nurberdiyeva received credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Turkmenistan Alfredo Nieves Portuondo.

On behalf of the Head of State, the National Parliament Chairperson congratulated the Ambassador on the commencement of his diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan, having expressed the wishes for success in strengthening the ties of friendship and mutual understanding, and developing interstate relations.
