Cuba dressed up this May 1st to commemorate International Workers' Day, a tradition that highlights the spirit of the national labor movement. The number of participants in Havana exceeded 600,000, and nationwide, more than 5.3 million.
With the special motivation of commemorating the 25th anniversary of the concept of Revolution expressed by Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, the island's streets were filled with life and color from early on, with stands adorned with posters, banners, and slogans that reflected the unwavering commitment of a people fighting to preserve the achievements of the Revolution and revive the national economy through collective collaboration.
