Ambassador of Cuba visits the National University of Lesotho

Pretoria, December 17, 2021.- The Ambassador of Cuba to the Kingdom of Lesotho, Rodolfo Benítez Verson, made a working visit to the National University of that country.

At that center of high studies, he held a productive working meeting with its Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kananelo E. Mosit, in which other senior officials of the University also participated, including the Registrar Liteboho Maqalika Lerotholi; the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Mohaeka Raselimo and the Head of the Department of Educational Sciences, Makomosela Qhobela.

Cuban Embassy in Liberia remembers the 6th Anniversary of the arrival of the Henry Reeve Brigade to combat Ebola in Liberia.

Monrovia, October 22, 2020.- On a day like today, but in the year 2014, the Henry Reeve Cuban Medical Brigade arrived in Liberia composed of epidemiologists, intensive care physicians, general practitioners, surgeons, pediatricians, nurses and intensive care nurses, anesthesiologists and nursing graduates, to help treat the victims of Ebola in the West African country.

The arrival of this brigade was marked by a strong sense of solidarity from the Cuban government with Liberia.

Monrovia, October 9, 2020 - The Vice-Chairman of the International Relations Committee of the Senate of Liberia, Senator Conmany B. Wesseh stressed that the Cuban Medical Brigade Henry Reeve, who fought against Ebola in his country, Sierra Leone and Guinea, deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.

The Vincentian national newspaper "Searchlight" inserted, on the first page of its weekly edition, an article on the surgical intervention performed by surgeon Dr. Orlirio Ferrer Robaina, member of the Cuban medical brigade, who saved the life of a seriously injured farmer.
