It constitutes a true slander that Cuba is intended to be singled out in this way, when our people, from the beginning of the Revolution and up to the present day, are the victims of these acts.

We, the Heads of State and Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the Republic of Cuba, gathered via videoconference on 8 December, 2020, on the occasion of the 7th CARICOM-Cuba Summit held in commemoration of the 48th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the four CARICOM independent States and Cuba and the 18th anniversary of CARICOM-Cuba Day;

The Seventh Summit of Heads of State and Government of the CARICOM-Cuba mechanism will be held on December 8 this year. This is an important forum whose efforts are focused on the strengthening of relations between the Caribbean Community and Cuba and finding solutions to the most pressing problems affecting the region, such as climate change effects and development challenges.
These Summits are being held every three years since 2002, on alternate venues between our country and CARICOM States.
