Meeting with leaders of the Nation's Future Party
The ambassador of Cuba in Egypt, Tania Aguiar Fernandez, held a meeting with the main figures of the Nation's Future Party. Ashraf Rashad Al-Sherif, Chairman of the Party, participated in the meeting; Hossam ElKhouly, General Secretary of the Party; Tariq al-Khouli, Secretary General of the Party's Foreign Affairs, as well as other officials of the Latin American Department of the Party's Secretariat of Foreign Affairs. On the Cuban side he accompanied the Ambassador, Councilor Dennis Casares Benítez, official of the Cuban Mission.
Meeting with the Minister of the Environment of the Arab Republic of Egypt
Ambassador Tania Aguiar Fernández; held a meeting with Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of the Environment of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Participated on the Egyptian side Councilor Tamer Mostafa M. Ali, Cabinet Chief of the Minister ; Abir AbuZeid, Assistant Secretary of the Egyptian Agency for Environmental Affairs and Tamer Abougharara, Assistant to the Minister. Accompanied by the Ambassador, Counselor Dennis Casares Benítez.
Celebrated in Cairo the 60th anniversary of Prensa Latina
At the Embassy of Cuba in Egypt, an activity was held in tribute to the 60th anniversary of Prensa Latina (PL). Participants in the activity included Ambassadors and Latin American diplomats accredited in Cairo, representatives of Egyptian solidarity organizations with Cuba and Latin America, Palestinian liberation organizations, Radio Cairo station and the Egyptian Radio and Television Union; and other guests.
Cuban specialists culminate course on agriculture in Egypt
(PL) With the presence of the Minister of Agriculture of Egypt, Abdel Moneim El-Banna, Cuban professionals of the sector received today in this capital his title of graduates of the Egyptian International Center for Agriculture (EICA).
Specialists Yaquelin Castillo and Wilber Pupo received their graduation diplomas in the fields of Technology for Pest Management and Project Analysis, respectively; in a course that for 10 weeks welcomed more than 50 professionals from some 27 countries.
